Where do we fit?
If you work inside an impact organisation and want to think with it yourself, that's the Impact rate. If you bill clients for strategy work, that's the commercial-use rate — same platform, different licence. If more than a handful of people need the same context, that's the Organisation rate. And if you need someone to own the strategy process rather than support it, that's Strategy Office or a scoped advisory engagement. Still unsure? The intro call is free and there is no pitch at the end of it.
Who qualifies for the Impact rate?
Impact organisations — non-profits, foundations, UN entities, social enterprises, public-benefit bodies and the people who work in them. If you bill clients for strategy work, the commercial-use rate is the right one, and it is what keeps the impact rate where it is.
How is this different from ChatGPT, or Claude, or any other AI tool?
Honestly? For a lot of things, use them, they're good, and they remember you now. hundertx is something else: a full strategy function tailored to the impact sector. It holds your organisation's context, understands your specific situation, works through impact-sector methodology and a register of cross-disciplinary thinkers, checks its own figures, and says so when the evidence won't carry a recommendation. We set it up knowing your field so you are not starting by explaining the sector to it. And when a question needs additional advisory judgement you can connect to our senior impact strategy advisors.
Where does our data actually sit?
Your account, your documents and your knowledge base sit in Nuremberg, on servers run by Hetzner, and you contract with a German practice under German law. The analysis runs on Anthropic's Claude, under commercial terms that forbid training on your data. Anthropic routes each request to whichever region has capacity, so we cannot tell you it stays in Europe, and we will not pretend otherwise. We intend to offer a European model as an additional option as soon as one can carry this work.
Do you train on our data?
No — not on any tier, and never to train public AI models. What we do learn from is usage: which tools get used, which analyses get reworked, where people get stuck. That is metadata — not your documents, not their content, and not what you type. Anything beyond that would be a separate, explicit opt-in: off by default, revocable, and not built yet.
Can we take our work with us?
It stays yours. Individual analyses, decks and documents export straight from the platform; for the whole knowledge base, ask and we export it in a usable format. Ask us to delete it and we delete it, and it goes from our backups as they rotate. A relationship that only holds because leaving is painful is not one we want.
How do we pay, and are we tied in?
Monthly, cancel whenever — no lock-in and no auto-renewal. Card for self-serve, invoice on request for organisations that need one. Prices are net of VAT; EU organisations outside Germany bill under reverse charge — send us your VAT ID and we will set it up.
